![]() As discussed on ATR. We need a thread for all the horses that qualify with such qualities.
A list for wonderfully accomplished Race Horses and I use the term lightly that retire instead of racing when they are per connections sound. I bring to you all this latest addition, mind you the Breeder Cup is in a few weeks: Triple Threat Irwin added, “Monsun probably was the best stallion to stand on the European continent in his era. Triple Threat is a half-brother to [Mrs Marsh {GB} {Marju {Ire}], the dam of successful young sire Canford Cliffs (Ire), so he makes for a lot of appeal on paper as well as in person. He retires sound and raced sound his entire career.” European Continent? How convenient. Unusual Heat is the best stallion of his era to stand west of the Mississippi good grief To boot Bill Mott said he was a "handsome devil"! |

![]() Mott said it moments before he saddled the horse to a last place finish in the Shadwell Mile.
Stellar 0-0-1 record in 11 Grade or Group 1 outings. |

![]() I don't think anyone has to apologize for retiring 6YOs.
Having said that, people may have to apologize if they breed to this horse.
