Default Chrome Plated Bankroll

Chrome has 13.4 million in earnings NOW, with 3 million in the winners share in the BCC and a 1 million bonus from SA for winning the Awesome Again and the BCC...thats over 17 million, plus if he runs in the super donn at GP in February, he could top 20 million in on track earnings...ouch !

...and honestly, if he's still running like he is now in the Pegasus, why not keep him in training? Is there a clamor in the breeding ranks for the son of Lucky Pulpit? I do understand the cost to insure him might get a little pricey, though.

TAPIT , leading sire in many ranks, for a few years now, is a son of Pulpit,
LUCKY PULPIT, is also a son of Pulpit

so all those winners by tapit are all grandsons of Pulpit, as is
California Chrome.

I would think with that kind of lineage, and his remarkable perfomance on the track,
should make him an outstanding high priced stud...kinda like me

if California Chrome is any kind of a winner in the shed,
he might turn out to be the most financially successful animal in history..
depending on his coverage , he might earn more than AP Indy ever did in the shed
will call him California Platinum then...

this is one special animal now..
if he is a stud,,,again like me, , he might rise to a level never to be duplicated for quite some time, unless the inflation rate makes the dollar extremely worthless for 5 years or so in a row..like the 1980's when the prime rate hovered over 20%, when they switched from using the interest rate to control the money supply, to letting the money supply control the interest rate. Volcker shifted Fed policy to aggressively target the money supply rather than interest rates

Would love to see him run in the 2017 Melbourne Cup. No matter if he runs up the track.

shipping overseas in a plane, especially to FLY VILLE, is a risky endeavor..
that idea will probably remain in the racing fans dream sequence of events

Can't disagree.

Running in the Melbourne Cup would be a media bonanza. A Kentucky Derby winner would break attendance record.

Yup. He keeps pumping out those 110-115 beyers. They don't put him close to Arrogate or Frosteds best, but he would win on the moon.

If Arrogate wins the BCC coming off that layoff then the FBI should do multiple raids on the connections.

Ya frosted did well when they met. Arrogate had a freak performance. If he comes close to that last race off this layoff I'd be stunned. Where's Dortmund?

Look about 3-5 lengths behind Crome. He's always there despite being faster than him.
