Based on Jeremy Plonk's piece on NTRA today where he identifies these as the pre-entrants (even though he's not supposed to..). May be one missing somehow though because he does reference "passing 13 others" and "field of 14", yet lists only 13...? But this is certainly 13 that are there...

I'd hate to play Henny Hughes at a short price but hes certainly going to be the horse to beat. His tactical speed style is a definite aid in a race where many horses need the lead to win.

Henny may be the best here, but I don't think 6f is his best distance. Remember Aldeberan a few years ago who was top notch at 7, but got outrun early and couldn't get up. Considering his probable odds, I'm going to have to take a shot against him.

Where is Malibu Mint ? According to her trainer, she was being pointed to this race, and right now she is so good it's scary.

Areyoutalkintome has no business being in that race. Just cluttering up the field.

HUH? Now this is my 2nd fave filly, but even I don't think she should be in this race. I will email my friend and ask her though.

Just heard from my friend. She isn't working for CHapman anymore. Sorry, I can't find out for you.

same here, i would have loved her in here and wished she was going -- she's tactical enough and one heck of a grinder.

Default Pomeroy

is an interesting horse. I backed him for 2 years at the spa and was off him in his other races. Now trained by Wolfson (Formerly Biancone) in florida and he will ship him in , just like saratoga. When he's on his game, he can eyeball just about anyone. Haven't taken a look at the pps to see if he ever ran at CD though. Prolly get 5-6/1 on him.
