8 year old makes his return (620 day layoff) tomorrow night in the Ontario Jockey Club Stakes at Woodbine.

At age 4 he set the Woodbine track record for 6F (01:08.16) that still holds. He's 10 - 6 - 2 - 1 at the distance. Just a head's up in case anyone is bored tomorrow night, didn't know about the race and wants to see if he can still bring it. Working out like he's ready to go. And it's a nice little field for a Wednesday night. Free Bris pps: http://www.brisnet.com/cgi-bin/brisw...8/summary.html |

That is a serious layoff? I'd be nervous of a short price.

I disagree. That was a slow half for him. Like Alabama said he should have been leading by half a pole.

He got beat by a good horse, held second, hopefully comes out OK and continues on. |
