Castellano is the only jockey I'd say I was a fan of and I was SOOOO happy that I could wander into the winners circle area during the trophy presentation yesterday and get an autograph!

Happy people are great people and he always looks delighted no matter what horse he is on.

He rides them all like they're the best.

So Bernardini isn't in the group with Ghostzapper and Bellamy Road?

He is a nice guy. I don't think he's as good a rider as the rest of the people here but I don't really care....he certainly rides well most of the time and is making far fewer premature moves than he used to.

bernardini is better than ghostzapper and bellamy road. i get the feeling they will let him loose in the breeders cup classic, considering it is his last race. secretariat's track record may fall.

That's funny. I was sort of joking about Bellamy Road but certainly not Ghostzapper.

Whoever said Bernardini was retiring at the end of the year? I seem to recall hearing just the opposite.

there has already been talk about his book for next year, which makes me think he will not be back. discreet cat will be back next year though. i guess they don't want the two to meet. they want a dirt stallion and this might be the best stallion prospect ever.

bellamy road and ghostzapper both were not sound horses. bernardini appears to be perfection. he glides over the track.
