UK: Shergar Cup Teams Confirmed
Wednesday, 8 August 2012: For the first time in Shergar Cup history, a girls team comprising champion female riders Hayley Turner, Emma-Jayne Wilson and Chantal Sutherland will compete against the boys this weekend at Ascot. THE GIRLS Hayley Turner (Captain) Emma-Jayne Wilson Chantal Sutherland EUROPE Frankie Dettori (Captain) Andreas Suborics Cristian Demuro REST OF THE WORLD Yutaka Take (Captain) Aaron Gryder Matthew Chadwick GREAT BRITAIN & IRELAND Kieren Fallon (Captain) Johnny Murtagh James Doyle The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is Britain's premier jockeys' competition a unique event where top jockeys in four teams; Great Britain and Ireland, Europe, the Rest of the World and for the first time this year an all girl's team, battle against each other in a thrilling six-race showdown. The Dubai Duty Free Shergar Cup is being run for the 12th time at Ascot this Saturday, August 11. * * * Some really good jockeys here (very happy to see Chadwick. The kid is amazing) but ummmm... no Aussies?

People who follow HK racing know this kid and his Cinderella story (left at an orphanage...) and know that he is just an amazing rider. Hope now the rest of the world takes notice!
