Misty For Me's race was the most frustrating one of the day for me. Not only did she have the bad start, but a rank Aruna to her outside was bothering her in the early part of the race and she just didn't look comfortable at that point. I was sorta shocked that she put in such a nice late run after she was taken out of her usual game of being prominent early.

It appeared to me as though the load was rushed - they had that thing over her ass that calms them down (don't know what the hell its called). The idea from what I understand is that a rope attached to it is supposed to be attached to the back of the gate so when the front opens it just slides off....well - the rope didn't look like it was secured at all (like it was laying over top the back of the gate, as if they were waiting for the horse to settle) and when the front opened it must have slid off to the side causing her to go to her knees.

Aruna's Spinster was a gift - didn't care for her at all - in fact the 3rd place horse in the Ladies Classic was beaten by her by only a half a length in that race, yet Trackus had her traveling 32 feet further Aruna (talking about Pacattack, or whatevah her name is)

Good Luck tomorrow

Ramon was obviously bottled up with her on the rail, but a seam did open at about the 1/8 pole for her, unfortunately she had absolutely nothing at that point. Not sure if the lack of a late kick was a product of the ride or maybe it just wasn't her day. I'm actually guessing it's the latter or the two.

Personally, I think it was more of a case of bad luck than it being a bad ride. He had her in perfect position while saving ground the entire way, he just happened to get boxed in at the wrong time.

I suppose. Ramon is on a drought in the BC. Johnny V, Gomez, and Leparoux have better luck on these days

Fold in the medication situation involved with her for the eye infection too. Chad Brown was plenty worried about it mid-week.

She knocked me out of the pk 4 but a bailed myself with a back up pk3 for the last 3 so it helped me recover a little bit. I also hit the all button for sheril s race for a double both ways with the 4 and 5 in the first with all and all with royal delta for $5.

never ever in a million years would I figure Perfect Shirl, only reason would be because Johnny V is a good rider. It looked Nahrain was home free, then it looked like Misty for Me would take it, but Shirl hung in there.
