![]() Starter sensation Rapid Redux snuck into Randall, Ohio and won the 4th race Monday at bucolic Thistledown Race Course, a nickel starter allowance, to make it 15 in a row for Robert Cole/Dave Wells. He won despite the best efforts of the jockeys riding the other four horses in the race to get him beat. If watching Jerry Bailey on Eddington in the Belmont irritated your sensibilities of good sportsmanship, then watching these four minor leaguers not try to win, but do everything they could to try to get Rapid Redux to lose will really make you crazy. Fortunately, despite their efforts, the best horse prevailed.
Rumor has it Arlington Park has offered to card the second running of The Citation Challenge for Rapid Redux's attempt at 16 in a row. |

![]() I don't even know what bucolic means -- It sounds career threatening though.
The worlds two smartest trainers post here. Fearless Leader may have a Byk like vocab --- but is he also an expert on every subject known to man like Cannon Shell? We get Cannon Shell's views on everything except wine, women, and song ... or as us kids today call it "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" |
