Airs above the Ground
Anybody see the seven filly in the paddock before the seventh at Belmont today? It was on TVG. While she was being saddled, she went straight up off the ground, looked almonst like a courbette (one of the airs above the ground the Lippizzaners do), but couldn't get her feet back under her, landed square on her behind, and went over on her back. Rolled over, got up and ran away, so she was okay, but the strangest thing I've seen lately.

bloodhorse had a photo about a year or so ago of a horse going straight up and kicking out while being saddled. it happens, glad she's ok...
