Default The Gulfstream Park Thoroughbred After-Care Program

http://www.gulfstreampark.com/racing...rement-program

“This is not a solution to the problem, but we feel it is another step in the right direction,” Stronach said. “While we believe it is the responsibility of every owner to find safe, after-race programs for all thoroughbreds, we also believe in taking the initiative to develop retirement, rehabilitation and retraining programs for these equine athletes who give so much to all of us.”

Stronach has been very involved in retraining and re-homing post racing TB's, both his own and those of others. I have far more respect for him as an owner/breeder than a tracetrack operator.

Frank generously writes the checks, but the tracking of the Adena breds, and bringing them home whether still with the Stable or not, is entirely the work of his wife Frieda.
