Default White Flag

Red Sox starting Gabbard tonite against the very hot Loaiza in Oakland.White flag..This is what I am talking about here. They throw Lester against the Halos, but when his turn comes up against Oakland, they give the A's a free square. He didn't have such a sore back last Wednesday.Pitched good enough against us(great location..if nothing else) with that sore back.Get up off of the mat n' stop acting like women. If you let the Oakland a$$eaters sweep you,I will never forget it.

Good call scuds. Sox getting beat 5-0 in the 5th. Im going to bed but fully expect to wake tomorrow and see a 7 game Yankee lead. I really cant believe that the Sox just gave up with 5 weeks to go in the season. Its great for the Yanks though. having a lead that big will make Mussinas time on the DL a minor issue. Then they can rotate guys the rest of the way and keep em healthy. last week or two they can rest the starters. This is great!

1 Sox team down, 1 more Sox team to go on the way to at least a Wild-Card berth for my beloved Twinkies.

Kind of amazing how the favorites to win the World Series can't really compare record-wise to the A's,or the Twinks(I mean since June 1st.)

For the A's it's customary for them to make huge runs after the all star break. They keep getting rid of guys, but it's the same trend every year for them. They start slow as hell, especially their bats. But then they always go on big runs the last half of the season. The one constant with them has always been solid pitching.

As for the Twins. It's amazing they've been able to maintain this run. Liriano is hurt, Radke is hurt, and Silva sucks. Hopefully Bonser and Garza can just be "adequate". Because the "piranhas (as Ozzie Guillen calls them)" keep hittin the ball. The Twins have been pretty good for about 5 years now, but there hasn't been a team this fun to watch (as a Twins fan I mean) since the '91 World Championship team.

They won't hit the A's starters.Loaiza,Haren,Zito,Blanton...all simply blazing. If you had Liriano,I would give you a better chance to beat the A's.People who don't watch the A's have no clue that the new additions of Bradley,Thomas, and Payton, are simply knocking in more than enough runs to win games. They lost their closer, and it simply makes no difference(rarely have teams been scoring much against their starters.)If you think the Halos match up well with the Yanks, just wait until the Yanks hit this wall.Ain't gunna be pretty.

LOL!
On a very serious note, I hope David Ortiz is okay. This puts things into perspective. He is truly one of baseball's good guys.
