Default How about this for tough beats?

Somebody had Evening Jewel (13-1) singled in the last leg of the Pick 6 for a $154,000+ payout. I still don't know how the photo came out with Blind Luck on top. Holy crap.

Wow I wanted Blind Luck to get up there, but I thought Evening Jewel had won the head bob. Bravo finally got around to showing the photo. BL got her nose down, but could've fooled me.

Blind Luck needed every inch of that long Churchill stretch to get past Evening Jewel. The fractions weren't particularly fast - 23.97, 48.15, 1:12.50 - and she still ran them down from last as the pair drew away from the field. Not bad for a couple of synthetic horses.

I guess I'll play the what if game. I hit 5 out of 6 - the only race I missed was singling Rachel. What do you think it would have paid with Rachel heading out Unrivaled Belle?

Parlay would've been $2,634 if Rachel won. So probably somewhere between $4,000-$8,000.

A truly sick beat. Apparently the guy posted on Crist's blog that he had the live ticket.

He's a Jets fan.

In that case, he should be used to tough beats and dissappointment.
