Default NIce DQ by the NYRA Stewards

In a day of absolutely retarded rides, (including Lopez' in the referenced race -- too bad he didn't go down a little bit harder), the NYRA stewards feel the need to get a piece and take down the 3 for moving in all of 1/2 path.

Nice

why are you suprised he came down. he closed a path where the faster horse was going through making him take a bad step tossing cc ..at favorite price.if the 3 would have continued and run well the rest of the way
it may have been a diffrent deal..

I can be suspicious of the stewards too.
But wanting the rider to get hurt ?
Lopez was the one that was to blame in this case. He put HIMSELF and the other riders in DANGER by trying to sneak through inside. And the stewards REWARD him and punish a rider that did nothing wrong. IMO this encourages others to ride in a similar manner. Which means these stewards are basically CLUELESS when it comes to how to go about policing these jocks as there are countless cases of HERDING where they've left the horses up. I mean, these are cases where horses have drifted significantly. And these bozos act now?

As for Lopez, if he doesn't care about putting himself and others in danger then why should I give a ****?

Time to turn in your degree, Douche. Assuming, that is, that you have one.
