I saw/tried 3D when I was at CES last week. Somewhere between cool and annoying. Did not like sports at all..very hard to get perespective on what is happening. Probably regret saying this, but not sure if it will ever be mainstream and catch on like Plasmas did, etc. Good novelty for the theater, but for every day viewing, not for mine.

some guys up here were talking about a 150 plus inch Sony flat screen that had a perfect picture no matter how close you came to the screen and LG had had a 50 inch flat screen weighing about 20lbs, about 2 inches thick that had its guts in an external box that could be concealed in the wall or anywhere in the room. I guess neither are on the market yet but may be soon?
