Default Favorite Frankel-trained filly or mare?

And the distaffers, whom Bobby particularly loved...

Steve, as much of a fan as I wasn't of Ginger Punch shouldn't she be mentioned as well?

Was gonna ask for the same. Considering my cat is named Ginger Punch, I think I know who my vote goes to.

One of my favorites not on the list was a graded stakes winner that Brice Blanc rode regularily, I remember one of her last stakes wins she went off as a longshot which she won over another Frankel filly. Anyone remember who she was?

Intercontinental was my fav also. Had a weird lanky stride but it looked awesome. Also helps I had $50 to win on her in the BC when she went off 17-1

I thought that but she was 5-1 in her last big win and beat Tranquility Lake.

Yes Happynyouknowit, I remember Brice being replaced on her after she lost a few, then she didn't do so well and once he got back on her again she won, they fit each other very well.

She beat A higher regarded Juddmonte filly in a race where Brice got back aboard her after being replaced by Frankel, she went off at 9-1 or thereabouts(an overlay to say the least!) and though this is all by memory I remember Brice hugging the hedge tracking the leaders and when he produced her she ran by her stablemate in deep stretch.

You could always spot a Frankel horse because they were so beautifully turned out with their banged tails. He took so much pride in the little things like that.

It's just splitting hairs, but she was 5.30-1 in that race (I can only assume you're talking about the Gamely, the race toward the end of her career when Blanc got back aboard to win after being replaced by Prado [1x] and Nakatani [2x]), and her stablemate High Walden was 6.00-1 there. Tranquility Lake was even money there and finished 2nd, while High Walden set the pace and finished 4th, beaten a head more than three lengths.

I'm sure we're talking about the same race, just the price she was threw me off when I was trying to figure out which horse you were talking about.

She was just awesome. It came up in the "Trivia" thread before the BC when trying to figure out which gals had 10 graded stakes wins this decade. She only had nine, but missed by a neck, a head, a nose, 3/4 of a length, a length, and was DQ'd from another one -- and she won the American Oaks when it wasn't graded.

That's almost 15 or 16 depending on how you look at it.

She gets some of her due, but I think she was underrated.

Some horses are really talented, but the best word I can find for them is "cool." Megahertz was plain old just a cool horse. The kind that sort of makes you shake your head and smile when they run.

Was High Walden the Frankel horse? Was Desourmeaux riding...I don't know where I was betting, maybe it was a different pool but I do remember getting 9-1 on her. Regardless she was a pretty good filly and that memory was a particularily nice one.

Solis was on High Walden, but yea that was Happyanunoit's stablemate in that race.

We're definitely talking about the same race, since Blanc saved ground as you described then swung out for the drive and ran past the other Frankel and a couple others in the process. Better to get 9-1 somewhere than 5-1
