Okay, I found a filly I'd like to own, #147, Rock Hard Ten x a Seattle Slew mare.

If anybody here ends up knowing who ends up owning her - let me know!

I don't get it? Do you want to own her or follow her?

I would have choosen #169 for 350k..Although I suspect Darley would have purchased the colt at any reasonable price. Considering the colts entire pedigree and their commitment to both sides of him, I find it hard to believe anyone had a real shot to acquire him.

A good friend of mine bought hips 5 and 59. He called me yesterday ecstatic about his purchases.

Both are by freshman sires, and things have gone well for freshman sires the last few years, so maybe he can get lucky.

I liked 59 alot, and I think your friend got a good deal on that nice colt, thought more would go for him - congrats to your friend, well done!
