Ouch. I thought they were considering sending Zenyatta to Oaklawn again?

oaklawn has had really big fields much of the racing season-but not here for some reason.

There are very few good handicap horses to go around.

In Oaklawn's defense, they've had a really good meet, having raised their purses and big fields etc.

yes, they have. raised purses twice now, which is the opposite of what many tracks have been experiencing. weather has been cooperative for the most part. nicely done.
on the flipside tho, they had another stake-an inaugural, that they had to cancel for lack of entries. a dearth of stakes horses here it seems.

Or the girls. Or leading the post parade. Something to spice up this suckfest.

I may over hype Tiago many times but....he would have destroyed this field in all likelihood.

Looks like the Stakes Cord. at Oaklawn is on par with Terry Wallace, talent wise.

Default Who do you like to finish second in the Fantasy?

I was thinking of keying Rachel Alexandra on top in an exacta over Afleet Deceit and Cats. AD is 8-1 and Cats is 20-1

The second choice Just Jenda looks good, but doesn't standout either over the 3 others, so I was thinking this is a chance to catch a price underneath. Cats is trying 2 turns for the first time, and she might improve on the stretchout. So what do you think?

I think Dalakhani is going all-in on RA to show.

Default Show wagering in the Fantasy?

Thinking about getting a show bet in on a horse other than Rachel Alexander in this one. I know there will a **** load of show money on her today if there is Show betting.
