Default Remember Peeping Tom?

The following was posted on another site. Tom hurt himself in a paddock in PA. I hope he'll be OK. He was a popular NY based horse for years.

"Peeping Tom, a grade 1 winner of almost 1.5 million dollars (BEFORE we owned him), sustained serious, possibly life-threatening, injuries in a pasture accident yesterday.

You can read about Tom here:

http://www.pedigreequery.com/peeping+tom

And a summary of his record:

55 Starts, 14 Wins, 9 Places, 9 Shows Career Earnings: $1,426,377
Breeder: Albert Finney & Mickey & Karen Taylor
State Bred: KY

At 3: 2nd Cigar Mile H.(G1,8F)
At 4: 1st Carter H.(G1,7F), General George H.(G2,7F), Toboggan H.(7F), 2nd Metropolitan H.(G1,8F), Gravesend H.(G3,6F)
At 5: 1st JB Mosley BCH.(Suf,6F), 2nd General George H.(G2,7F), Tom Fool(G2,7F), Toboggan H.(G3,6F), 3rd Carter H.(G1,7F), Metropolitan H.(G1,8F), Bold Ruler H.(G3,6F)
At 6: 1st Donald Levine H.(G3,6F), Paumonok H.(6F)

Foaled March 8, 1997
Retired from racing July 11, 2006

We are not sure how it happened but he has a deep cut (to the bone) on his off hind fetlock, upper pastern & lower cannon. He was seen by a veterinarian & referred on to an equine hospital. The good news is that the cut apparently does not penetrate the joint or the tendon sheath. Still, he is in pain, in spite of prescribed pain medications, and in danger of infection over the next week or so. If everything goes "right", he will live a long life, although he will have an ugly, ugly scar."
