Default Tomorrow's card

Interesting plays in spots tomorrow. My only concern is that horses won't fire due to the excessive heat and humidity. I guess you have to tread a little lightly, but I am against a few favorites tomorrow who look beatable to me.

1st) cheap claimers, a race so bad that its not even worth your time to look at it. El paso.
2nd) Three horse race between a Pletcher firster(6) who looks bred and very well prepped and drawn, a Clement firster(8) who is working well and well bred(also using a "live" rider which indicates trying first out in Gomez), and a penna 2nd time starter(9) who had a good sprint prep and who has decent grass lines. In pik-3's I will press Pletcher and use the other two horses.
3rd) 1 Shes Indy money is well bred with high profile connections and will be a big fave. Thats good for me because I found her last win to have been dreadful. On that day she tripped out behind the speed and appeared to be out of gas while outfinishing menu Varnish who was in for 35 K yesterday and a dreadful Shug horse named Chili cat. Off a little layoff and stretching out to a mile and an eighth I say she is vulnerable and will lose. I will use three horses in the pik-3, 2,4 and 6.
4th) Dreadful NY bred grass maidens. I will go two deep and leave out the favorite here as well. The projected fave Roscommon Express had absolutely no excuse last time out in a dreadful race and will be overbet here with Johnny onboard. I will use Dutrow's first time USA starter(8) and Serpe's(whose whole barn is running well) horse who has a couple of decent races(6).
5th) Some would call this race competitive, I would call it impossible. No thanks!!
6th) Impossible to gauge this race where 8 of the 9 horses have never run but all have good connections and breeding or works, etc. the 9th one ran a great debut race and gets a god jock switch. Very hard and not for me.
7th) I just have no opinion on the race. Too many question marks and small field spells no value.
8th) Am huge agaisnt the favored Metro Meteor who I feel tripped out last time against bad horses and will be hard pressed to stretch this far. I LOVE Running Dog whose only grass race was very good. I know he will go this far and hes obviously been aimed at this race especially with that last 7f two turn grass work on the training course up here. I will be singling him.
9th) very competitive and wide open race but I'm against the Bush horse who may be favored. Run red Run has never been this far and hasnt beaten much and has a bad post. other than that he looks just great. But the Bush horses always take cash and I feel I can toss him with confidence. Will press the 3 horse and also use the 4,5,6.
Good luck.

race 6...wasn't Sixthirteen scratched out of a 2 yr old race at Spa last week ?
His trainer may think this is a better spot for what it's worth.

You have the Darley entry, Elusive Value which you have to say is the best bred. his 2nd dam is Silvery Swan, the dam of El Corredor and Roman Ruler. Sammarco;(Johannesberg/Devils Bag-Halo) just about the same cross as Tueflesberg; (Johannesberg/Saint Ballado- Halo). But i don't think the ped is quite as strong overall for Sammarco.

there are some interesting breedings, most families average however, in this race and we'll see if any can beat Elusive Value, the Darley entry.

Wollaston Bay carries the powerful Secretariat/Sir Gaylord cross but his family is wanting.

In the 2nd race, I've seen the Clement horse work. I saw him work on the grass at the Keeneland Sale. The horse can really run. If Clement has him even half-way cranked up, he will be extremely hard to beat.
