Default Expect improved racing at Gulfstream meet in 2009

GP hired Doug Bredar as their new racing secretary. He has a wealth of experience at major racetracks and has always had an affinity for GP.

Sounds nice. Even one less claiming turf race a week (and one more allowance race) would probably mean a better overall turf card for the meet than SAR. (Certainly more races, and they have one less turf course.)

Then again, last year, FG, TAM, and HOL/SA did better than that.

So many tracks, so much opportunity to **** it all up.
