Question Synthetic and dirt in stats?

Today 2nd race at SAR, the 3 horse is listed as 6 races on dirt with a 2-0-1 record on dirt. When you look closer at PP's, he's NEVER run on dirt, all synthetic....I used Equibase PP's today and Bris PP's list it the same way.

The 7 horse in the same race was listed as Dirt 5 races with a record of 2-1-0 on dirt but in fact he has only raced on dirt 3 times with 2 races on plastic.

QUESTION: Does Equibase combine dirt AND POLY as dirt in their career stats?

I called Equibase today right after the race was over and pointed this out to them and they thought I was kidding about this, they thought that dirt was separate from All weather career stats but in the Equibase Home page samples of their products, they in fact do show that poly is listed as dirt in their products!

Any body have a clue on this? Does DRF separate these stats or do they combine all weather and dirt into their dirt career figs? Looks like they all just separate TURF from dirt career stats?

DRF, at least in Formulator, appears to be combining dirt and synthetics.

Thanks god for Pace Figures so I can READILY see career races on synthetic vs dirt. Tossed the 3 in 2nd race because of no dirt races and has trained pretty slow on BEL and SAR dirt!

Possibly the pedigree numbers are mixed in the same way. I know HDW seperates them, but I doubt that all do (Bris, DRF etc.).

Brisnet combines AW races with dirt for their Dirt Fast track career stats, but then break out the AW races below, so you can see the horse's true dirt stats with a quick calculation
