That 1 horse looks pretty good if the odds stay anywhere close to 8-1. He will need some luck but it seems on paper like he might be worth a play. Thoughts? |

I'd give Silver Timber a shot if the ground is firm (looks shaky right now) and Redefined seems to always run his race. I'd like to make Mohegan Sky repeat his last and 5-2 is too short to take on anyone in this field. |

Looking at Mohegan Sky, I see that she has racked four straight beyer figure increases with her last being his highest ever. That bubble is going to pop soon. I dont see her repeating that figure however even if she bounces only a bit she can still contend but like you said 5-2 doesnt sound appealing. |

![]() For this race I am looking at Ahvees Destiny. 2 for 3 at SAR and 3 for 8 at the distance. Look back 3 starts back at GP. Sat right behind some crazy fractions and closed to win by a length in a time of :54.80. Second place horse in that race comes to win in next race back. That race was against the boys as well. She most definteltley can improve third off layoff.
Linda Rice probably feels this horse to do her best damage going less than 6 F thats why she did not put this horse at the Belmont meet going 6 F. Also Rice is raking 34% winners at Saratoga for 6f or less (on turf) for the past 5 years. Very good value play. What the heck The Bet: $40 WP on Ahvees Destiny Last edited by eajinabi : 07-21-2008 at 11:40 PM. |

![]() I dont have th PPs yet, but going off memory, cant Posted be tough here on the front end? Last race was excellent nearly resulting in a win. Worth inclusion on pick tickets and maybe a win bet at what should be 6/1 to 8/1 range.
I agree about Mohegan Sky not being worth the short price albeit she likes it here. And also about Metro Meteor being over the top. Wont be using either one of these two. Silver Timber is probably going to be heard from but thinking the price wont be as good as it should be with Kent up. A horse I can see getting up at a big number is All About Mack. May look hopeless on paper but if the pace falls apart, he should be flying and this isnt a stellar group of horses. |
