Default How perfect..............Prado/Casino Drive

Prado loses the mount on Big Brown.....then is the jock on the horse that beats Big Brown. I would say it's safe to say that Dutrow wont be riding Prado anymore if CD beats BB.

When did he ever have the mount on Big Brown? Only Rose & Kent D have ridden him.

Prado worked the horse after the purchase and Dutrow wanted Prado on the horse. The owners wanted Desroemeaux.

Prado is Dutrows go to guy. He won't bite off his nose to spite his face.

anyone else surprised by this, for 2 reasons?

a) as previously stated, prado and dutrow have a relationship...wouldn't it seem odd if prado beats big brown?

b) from the casino drive side...prado and dutrow have a relationship...how did it work out for hard spun last year when he had TAP's co-main man riding him against rags?

I dont think Prado would risk his whole career to throw/not try in one race. If Prado gave CD a "questionable" ride a lot of trainers would never ride him again.

Yes, you can plainly see how it has affected Gomez's career...Hard Spun walks the shedrow faster than they went in the Belmont last year...

Gomez didnt stiff HS. He just gave a bad ride. Cant really compare the 2 situations.

I think people are implying that because of the relationship between Prado/Dutrow, Prado might not try. I doubt Prado would be that stupid to jeopardize his whole future.

yeah go-go is a good rider. but sometimes i question his rides. last years belmont was one of them. i'll admit i bet hardspun. but come on they were walking and he held that horse back. the horses advantage is his tactical speed. and why did the trainer change to begin with. Larry jones gets all these praises, but i don't know . pino was good with that horse.

How did Prado box in BB? This is bull crap.

At this point all Prado is capable of is his 'best' impersonation of Ariel Smith. Which, I might add, he seems to have mastered.

Casino Drive's five furlong work Wednesday was slower than Curlin's six furlong work Monday.

The Japanese connections are very sharp. Prado knows how to win this race. He probably isn't on the better horse but he might be on a good enough horse if Kent moves too soon, if Big Brown just doesn't take to the Belmont track, his feet act up, or he doesn't want to run 12f. The sure TC winner isn't that sure, just likely.

If Spectacular Bid can lose, Big Brown could easily lose.
