Default NBA playoff rant:

Pick on your favorites:

1. Carmello Anthony

Not a clue. None.
K. Martin tries to set a screen
for him and he goes the other way. Martin comes halfway
across the flippn court, opens up a lane, and frkn Carmello goes
the other way into traffic and coughs up the ball.

Anthony sets a screen for AI. On the wrong side of the
defender. AI sets Anthony up for making the correct screen
by hesitating perfectly, and Carmello sets the screen
on the wrong side of the defender.

I will not even mention Defense. And Steven A. Smith,
basketball officianado, could not wait for this, the most
exciting series. God awful stuff. I hope the Lakers
continue to crush Denver for being brain dead.

The Lakers are now doomed.

Make a rant for gods sake.

Denver looks awful against the Lakers. I really wish Stephen A would just go away. My playoff rant would be for the Pistons. Where on earth is the defense rotation--no pressure on the ball--no energy. They look like Memphis. Sheed takes ridiculous shots, Chauncet not creating, Prince playing ZERO D. The team has yet to get back on defense. No offensive movement and horrible shooting.

George Karl.

But the material he has to work
with... I would not be envious of
trying to get Carmello and AI to
play some D.

The tatooed team could not possibly
be fun in any way to coach. Bunch of
pain in the neck primadonnas.

Glen Davis.
The big baby.

Looks like a huge Avacado.
That solid green jersey cries
"Get in my belly", on him.

He is the massive green planet.

The hot dogs in Atlanta are
gravitationally ripped out of the hungry
children's hands and thrown into a
decaying orbit around that Green
Monster.

They would be a dynasty if the playoffs were played under Street Ball: The Mix Tape Tour rules.

Speaking of lack of D how about steve nash playing less then usual. The whole team lacks any defenseive concept but you cant let parker drop in 30 a game with only two shots from outside 6 feet away.

Frustrated ignorance:

1. Phoenix fans

They cant figure out who to boo anymore.
Stopped booing the Spurs. Cant boo Nash.
So they just boo-hoo.

2. Denver (The Gutless bunch)

Our coach quit, the team quit, I quit. Im a competitor.

Carmello you quit and you are a competitor?
And this is your team.
I'm sure it sends a spell of calm
over any team to know Carmello Anthony
is the leader of the team.

3. Steven A. Smith:

For saying the best series in the first
round would be Denver v. LA.
For being the most out of touch basketball
analyst. Does he ever even watch if a group
of 5 actually play well together? Not what
their individual offensive stats say.

4. Detroit

Cant say this is frustrated ignorance.
Do they even care?
Totally sleep walking.

I hope the Suns set tonight.
They are scraping up points
from guys who usually choke
and that is a bit disconcerting.

What I am very happy to see if
the Spurs move on is Horry and
Barry playing. Horry is a very important
inside defender who also has mobility
and he is only 75 years old.

Barry can flat out crank 3's.
He opens the floor wide for Ginobili
or Parker; Stops the collapse on
Duncan. Critical players for later
matchups that hopefully occur.

Total choke by Phoenix.

You look at the series and see 4-1.
You think it was not close. Well it was.

Goodbye Shaq.
Righto. Sit your no touch, fat as s down
for the summer.

20 million to go 9-20 from the FT line.
But he makes all the FT that really count.
