Cool Great Valentine story...what ever happened to the car?

To have a car like this in 1986, must have really stuck out! What did you ever do with it???

When I lived in Montreal, I worked with a French Canadian named Gaetan Label who is about 15 years older than me. His first car as kid was a '59 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88, and I told him in 1991 that when I left Canada, I'd give the car to him in appreciation for helping me start my business, K7 Marketing... "Ka-Sept" is K-7 in French... So when I left Montreal for the Saratoga area in 1999, I gave the Olds to him.

Always wonder what Kasept meant...that was a great thing to do for him. Do you have any pictures of it?
They don't make cars like that anymore

Steve, while we've visited in the past about such serious things as Cashew Chicken and BBQ, your Olds story is the best. St. Joe is my hometown. My Grandfather was the Service Manager for the Oldsmobile Dealership for over twenty years. Before that he was the Service Manager at the Pontiac dealership. I spent all of my early years in "The City that Sleeps By the River." Even went to college there. Started in radio at the tender age of 15 and that career is what brought me to Springfield. I had the choice of going to work for Johnny Dolan at WHB or coming to Springfield to be the news director for the powerhouse here.
But wait there's more boring irony. In regards to Canada.... I am a direct desendant of Lord George Calvert. Yes, I've been to his home in Montreal and was treated like royalty during my visit.
So who did you buy the car from?

Gary in Springfield
