![]() I thought kasept started a thread with the Strub as the 'DT Race of the Week'. That thread probably disappeared into the sticky thread with several SA races.
I'm interested in one aspect of the Strub in particular. How much do cappers here use a strict "class" element in their analyses? I made up a line for the Strub, and it differs substantially from the morning line on 2 of the horses. I think the differences are completely related to class, which I give only minor attention to. In the ML, Tiago is a 6-5 fav. Giant Gizmo is listed at 8-1. If you look at the last 3 BSF's, they are pretty equal. But Tiago earned his in a Gr 2 and 2 Gr 1's, including the BC Classic. Giant Gizmo earned his in non-winners of 2's allowance and OC's. Is that really enough to separate their chances from 6-5 to 8-1? I put them much closer together in my line, giving Giant Gizmo a slight edge. --Dunbar
