Default Barbaro

I'll guess that Churchill will be Barbaro's final resting place - announcement tomorrow from that location Bloodhorse.com

I was hoping they'd choose Churhill Downs. Who else is buried at Churchill?

The above article states that Derby winners Sunny’s Halo (1983), Carry Back (1961), Swaps (1955) and Brokers Tip (1933) are located outside on the museum grounds.

Wow - I've been to the Derby Museum three times, I never knew that. Took the "official tour" once during non-racing season, and they never mentioned that or showed the grave sites.

How sad is that?! Perhaps now with Barbaro being buried there as well, they will get the attention they deserve as well.

I just got back from CD and had the Jacksons sign my Bloodhorse mag after the Derby. Very pleasent people and very willing to listen to people ask them questions. I just told them that i appreciated what they did and the fact that they along with everyone else involved tried so hard to save Barbaro and i wished them luck saying that I hoped to see them again in the future here in L'ville on the 1st sat in May. She replied "oh, we will be back". Made me smile.

Richard, you could possibly have a very nice cottage industry here - I'd be very happy to buy one of your pencils of KNS and SWLY!
