Default Grenig touches on Jacobson's return

Dave Jacobson has been very shy with the media since his return to the NY racing scene last summer. It's understandable given the rancor associated with his departure from the game 25 years before and the fame and infamy of his father. He gave Ed Fontaine an interview at Saratoga, and appears to be opening up a little more now... Dave Grenig featured him in his Track Notes in the Form today.

For those that aren't familiar with Buddy Jacobson, his NY Times obit below gives just a snapshot of what was one of racing's wildest stories...

Best part of the article is the mention of Oscar... All that is good about racing summed up in one word OSCAR.

I don't know why horse racing's most notorious trainer is not in the celebrity crime library... but many sordid other celebrity types are.

It is our duty to work.
To those who aspire to retire, at 55. There is no retirement from reality. Retirement from this world is not an option. We must always work, fight, for a better world.

"Grenig" sounds like a slur you'd use against a Leprechaun.
