![]() Really like Shopton Lane a lot in this race. Look for big things from him in the future, but it starts today.

![]() He just got the optimal set up in a so-so race and still ran at best fairly. How can he possibly compete outside of high priced claimers at this point? He has no conditions left. Where's he going that he will be competitive?

![]() He did get it all his way, but the winner is hard to gauge. Hes too lightly raced to say hes just a nice horse. He could get very good quickly, and I know they think Actin Good is a monster. They are very high on him out of his last, so we can wait and see what he does in the SSM. Ill reserve judgement on how bad/or mediocre Shopton is until he tries good horses again. I will also be very interested to see how Actin Good preps and runs in the SSM

![]() The winner might be OK and that is a feather in Shopton Lane's cap but considering the 2YO fillies in the Demoiselle just cut out a pace that was two seconds faster I will reserve judgement on either of the first two until they do well in a fairly run and competitive race.

![]() As will I.
I dont disagree with your assessment at all. Im disappointed he didnt hold that rival being allowed to lope around there |
