Default question for anyone live in person at the Spa today

How hard and how long did it rain? And what effect did this have on the 11th race, when the 2 longest shots on the board ran 1-2 (and I, and I'm sure many others on this board were knocked out of the pick 6)?

It rained pretty hard but not for long. I cannot imagine, unless either had tremendous mud pedigree (don't have the pp's in front of me) that it would have that much effect on the outcome.

I was there and they sealed the track in the 11th race. It was not that wet at all. After the races a huge thunderstorm hit and knocked the power out at the track! My husband was live for the pick 6, once they sealed the track it screwed his ticket up, got 5 fot 6!

The 11th was a pretty strange race (1 of a handful, yesterday).. I had two horses live in that leg, the entry and Vicarian... the entry battled each other near the front end, Vicarian never lifted a hoof.. and the longest shot on the board closed from last to win going away..very dissapointing

This is the kind of suffering and pain I am talkin about. What happened to my Saratoga thread, about the unrealistic aspects of the joint ? I can feel your pain fans
