Praise for Saratoga
On-track handle is up 7.4% (compared to 3.1% at Del Mar) All-sources handle is up 6.7% (compared to 5.8% at Del Mar) Attendance is up 4.2% (compared to 2.6% at Del Mar) and they didn't have to waste over $9 million on a track surface that makes the racing an eyesore.
As horses are rated early, rated middle, and stagger late....and those are just the winners!
