Thumbs up The Todd Pletcher show

Much to the chagrin of all the Todd Pletcher haters that called Capital OTB Trackfacts show last Sunday, the "modern day silver fox" gets the Grand Slam (2nd thru 5th). It didn't take a "rocket scientist" (space shuttle launch today) to come up with those runners, but it sure beats a M-80 (4th of July) going off in your hand. Not a bad holiday today so far; 6 hours of "double time and a half work" this morning carting water-damaged files out of a cellar that had 10 feet of water in it last week and now this. God Bless America!

I agree totally. The haters aren't very intelligent souls are they? All of em have some sort of axe to grind. Then again if the guy ignored my phone calls I might not like him either. (joel thats called ball busting up here in NY)

Last i checked the modern day silver fox was Bob Baffert. Pletchers record in the classics is atrocious. Baffert's record in the big ones is about as good as it gets.

Pletcher will have his day when he steps into the elite. He just isn't there yet.

I've always said that Pletcher is the King Of The MSW Sprints ... and he does good work with fillies ... would never deny any of that to him.

But when is he going to get a colt to win consistently at classic distances?

Please wake me when he does.

ZZZZZZZZzzzzzzz .... ZZZZZZZZZzzzzZZZZ ............
