Default The very first green monkey thread in several days!

Seismographs shook all over the world today as he worked in a sound barrier breaking half mile in 49.2 or 49.3.

what i'm curious about, since i'm not a trainer, is that they only put one 3f work into him before going to 4f. isnt that a bit unusual?

is it possible they are rushing him, hoping to get him up to a 6f work before they retire him?

Well now that Invasor got scared into retirement after his first work, they figured they can still make the Donn then finish the year off with a win in the BC Classic!!!!!

It would be funny if he did win a g1 one day. We would look back at all these threads and regret what we said.

that seems unlikely.

my dislike for him started even before he sold! i saw his much hyped work and thought, even though his time was fast, he'd sell for maybe a few hundred thousand at most. i thought it looked pretty bad.

i ended up betting drugS that he most likely would never start, and he said he'd be a g1 winner at 2.

actually, our bet ended up being that he would or would not be weighted within 10 lbs of the champion at the end of his 2yo year.

he never did pay me either, and now that he's dead, i guess he wont!

not really unusual. you dont know how long the horse has been on the track training for and horses do have unpublished breezes

Default Green Monkey

He has Pletcher as trainer, will probably get injured in debut and be retired to stud. The owners will find out he's no good at stud also and sell him to a horse meat plant for $1.00 just to get rid of him..lol

I know that your are probably joking, but there is nothing funny about that whole "Horse Meat Plant" humor.

You are new around here... I'll just say that many of us don't think it is "lol" to suggest horses are meat
