![]() As Barry Bonds closes in on Aaron's record (six more to tie), the question becomes, can A-Rod surpass Bonds to take the HR record? At age 31, his 492 homers certainly puts him on pace to do so. I suspect baseball (ie: everyone from the commish on down) will be pulling for A-Rod, no matter whether you like him or not, the drug stigma hasn't tainted him. It will be an interesting chase, his health will have to hold up but otherwise, he appears capable.
