I played Lone Star Thurs evening. It was a very frustrating nite to begin with. First race my horse got crushed out of the gate and cheap speed won. I watched as some player dumped 3 grand on my horse at post time to go from 7-1 to 6/5 in a blink.

I found the rest of the races very difficult to play straight win bets as the low pools made for some wild odds movements which I'm not used to, being a NYRA player 99% of the time. So for races 3-8 I just played rolling pick 3's, playing 3 horses in each and won them all. Even with lots of chalk, it was better odds than watching straiight win bets go off at 6/5 most of the nite!

Most of the races were won by P horses that nite bombing down the stretch BTW.
