Default Bring back PG1985!!!

The Green Monkey has returned to Pletcher's stable!

I can't wait for the first sonic boom to hit once he starts breezing!

I'm gonna go buy a seismograph on ebay.

Street Sense and Curlin are shaking from fear. Hard Spun refuses to come out of his stable. Invasor ships back to the mideast to avoid The Green Monkey.

There is no escape from his fierce turn of foot.

Oh I am sure he is going to run in both,,,cause you know Pletcher has to get him ready to win the BC Classic, then retire him with a $500k stud fee!!!!!

I've noticed a trend that horses who work just 1/8th, and in blinkers, are the most dicey when it comes to translating the ability they flashed in a preview, into ability on the racetrack.

There was a story a few weeks back, where one of Pletchers assistant trainers talked about the horse as though he might really struggle to win a major circuit maiden race--off of how he's trained.

That could be a crafty method of damage control. They bring the horse back, he wins a race or two, then they pat themselves on the back for the "miracle" of getting the horse in the winner's circle.

Yeah---Pletcher possibly did a sneaky good job of lowering the expectations as far as possible with the quotes that came from his asst. in that article.
