![]() I've noticed a trend that horses who work just 1/8th, and in blinkers, are the most dicey when it comes to translating the ability they flashed in a preview, into ability on the racetrack.
There was a story a few weeks back, where one of Pletchers assistant trainers talked about the horse as though he might really struggle to win a major circuit maiden race--off of how he's trained. |
