45 days.
Apparently the judge was gonna let her off light until she flat out lied and her mom was yelling at the judge during the proceedings. Poor thing she cried.

More celebs and stars that think no way not me. And its in the county jail. If she stayed in a regular county jail around here (btw, they offered money to upgrade jails once they realized she was really going to jail, the judge refused the upgrade), she would find it most unpleasant. I have had a few kids get thrown in for a night. They dont worry much about the temp, etc... in those cozy little places.

Due to overcrowding, she'll be lucky to serve a day. Michelle Rodriguez was sentenced to 60 days and served two hours.

think she was made out to be the example, which is fine with me because the stunts shes pulled and gotten away with has been pure lunacy. There is some justice in America after all.

Are we sure this isn't an episode of her and Nicole Ritchie's reality show (the name of which escapes me)?

Well, I can't feel sorry for her because she's had a life of luxury but she's been taught that she's better than the rest of us, mother seems like...well, nevermind. Paris isn't a bad person, she's just basically clueless...doesn't understand the concept of personal responsibility. I doubt the media circus of her being incarcerated (remember Martha?) will do anything to educate her.

She frikkn lied in front of a judge Somer. Clueless is too kind.
And her mom screaming at the judge BEFORE any sentence...

Brilliant.

I agree totally! I have a 17 year old daughter and I made sure she always understood that she is responsible for her own actions. No excuses. She's a GREAT kid!

Guys and gals, she got off lucky based on her failure to respect the terms of her probation. "Normal", "Everyday" folks would have gotten a harder sentence, like 6 months in jail.

God bless that judge for layin the law down.
