Default I'm Cursed Hammer Hank Likes My Horse

Dam it all to hell. Hammerin Hank goes I like a few in here but anyone can win on Any Given Saturday. I hate when someone else likes my damn horse. Do any of you have other superstitsions like this? My other is the Beyer curse. This man has ruined my Derby pick maybe only once or twice over the years.

There is a slight ray of hope... A lot of people had it, but Hammerin' Hank picked Street Sense to win the Juvy. I thought I was screwed when I had him too. By the way, in talking to people, it seems like EVERYONE had Street Sense in the Juvy that day. How did we get 10-1 on him?

Unfortuneatly if Hank the idiot picked your horse, you might want to reconsider.

I saw him on ESPN this morning spewing some brilliant insight on Great Hunter.

Hank : I think Great Hunter was compromised the most by the Derby Draw. He needs to be close to the pace ...thats his style.

I guess Hank didnt bother to look back at Great Hunter's best races...hell..all of em....he is a closer. HIs last race at KEE was a toss. Nak tried something different because of the snail like pace. The horse would have been at the back of the pack of The Derby whether he drew post 1 or 20.

How Espn employs such an embarassment is amazing.

I thought Hank had Lawyer Ron last year. The only reason I can remember is because I had a big future bet on LR and had the same "cursed" feeling.

They throw out so many picks when they do that show over a course of days. I was watching one of my old tapes, I know he said it at one pt. I think when they were doing the thing around the table with Gerardi, Moss and Privman. This might have been the night before...WHo knows? He will tell you something totally different later in the show. Him looking at the note cards is also a source of amusement.

It was funny then because I saw so many wise guy threads on AP Warrrior (did Beyer have him too?) that I was wondering if there was some sort of conspiracy to confuse the public. THen my buddy calls me at the OTB with 20 min to post...he's capped the race for like all of 45 min...."Wait, dont tell me, let me guess"..."I need $50 on AP Warrior to win."..."Don't do it man." ...

DUmb. I should have pocketed the money I know, but I really didnt have $1300 or whatever to pay him if he won.
