they said he put 18K on that horse to win at Batavia Downs. when he looked at the board it was 2/1, imagine what the odds would be at a track like that if someone put down 18K??? the horse would be like 1/9. totally bogus racing action if you ask me.

Yes there is.

Anyone see the preview for Entourage? Looks like next week will show a lot of footage from either Santa Anita or Del Mar, not sure which track they were at.

Halfway between Rochester and Buffalo. Only two things to do in Batavia go to Batavia Downs and/or watch the Batavia Muckdogs (single A farm team for the Cardinals).

Was there twice...two years ago, stop there on the way to Ozzfest @ Darien Lake
& a few years before that after a day at the "Flakes" (Finger that is!).
Went to the Best Western that evening...it was karaoke night, had one of the worst hangovers the next day.
My buddies convinced me a trip back to the track would cure that...it did!

That's funny, Because I thought he won the at the wire also! What really should have happened, is that Meadow Gold would be clear by 5 and break in the stretch! Tony would have crapped his pants! He would really be the mush.

the odds were right on it was 2/1 before he put the bet, and if you hear Paulie i think he puts down 18k to win 24 I believe, then Bobby B was like so

A great episode which was made only better by the racing action, even if it was harness.

I am surprised that they didn't have the action the Meadowlands, though, since it is in Jersey. They picked Monmouth over the other tracks around there for Pie-o-Mi, so I figured they would be insistant on another Jersey track.

Of course, the Meadowlands may not have wanted any mention in regards to a Mafia show, and it would have been even more confusing with "Meadow Gold" at the Meadowlands...

Actually all the Pie O Mie race were filmed at the Big A on track and at the Equestris Room on the third floor. They showed the Big A scoreboard numerous times especially on the payouts...poor Ralphie had to "pony up" to Tony his taste.
