Unhappy Jasmine...my "Jitten"

It's been one year since you left our home
time has flied like the seasons and another spring is here without you
the house just isn't the same with you gone
miss those mornings when you woke me up to feed you
miss those evenings when you would jump on my lap to keep warm
even Kasi, you're canine sister still looks "up the stairs" for you to come down
time has gone so fast...but the memories of you will live in us for ever

Jasmine...the cat, my "Jitten" 1994-2006

You are so right ma'amage.

I admire your courage and sensitivity toward your fellow man.

I got my little finger whacked by a rubber mallet yesterday.

But I'm on the mend...the pain is still there...not to worry, though.

HHH;

In all seriousness.....I lost my doggie a long time ago and I still think about him.

We may be mocked..in fact I'm sure of it...but remember this:

Mockees shall inherit the Earth.

Also....never buy "unopened" packs of dated baseball cards.

I bought 5 '84 DonRuss in '87 at 5 bucks a pack ( Mattingly going for $75 at the time).

NO puzzle pieces in any of them.

I went back to the filthy swine...who was busy at the time( no doubt fleecing someone else) ...so his son heard my complaint. So he goes to his welching Dad....comes back and says..." DR was known for that."

Well NO..they weren't.....but I wasn't going to have it out with a 10 year old.

It was then I stopped the whole mess. Dealers were pig swine and I would think still are.....

...don't ya know.

Mortimer...don't care what anybody says...you're an alright guy!

a little "different"...but honest & unlike others who are "outcasts" on "other" sites...
that hide behind the names of "the greatest all time" horse, a "failed" Frankel runner from a few years back & a borough in NYC...

those guys ARE the lowest form of life!

the "Mockees" outshine those who are the "haters" and "jealous" ones

as for the "unopened pack" theory....had a simliar incident with '89 UD (first year)

purchased a box for $36.00 (at the time mucho $$$) ...the guys at the Cumby's went through the foil pack looking for the ever elusive "Junior" rookie card

I said "no way" I'm buying a "searched" box...he did give me one the was sealed (threaten his termination with his boss if he didn't!)

by the way.....that "Mattingly" '84 Donruss rookie...saw one at card show yesterday for.....

$10.00

HHH - Very sorry to hear of your loss... I can't imagine not having my "Derby" cat (that where I got my screen name from), she is the sweetest Tortie ever (or so I've been told), she's aloof but will surprise me all the time. Last night I had insomnia and was up watching TV and she came and snuggled next to me and fell asleep under my blankets - that helped me finally fall back to sleep

My thoughts are with you and your Jitten tonight...

p.s. My other cat is "Jerry", named after Jerry Bailey... they're both a couple of showboats!

Thanks...and also a BIG thank you for the Derby contest. Last weekend is proof that ONE longshot can change everything!

Jim, I missed your post...I have never encountered such "jealous outcasts" like those three...
I'm ashamed they're even connected with this sport.
