Douglas Situation Update..
The Rene Douglas 'rule off' situation continues to evolve and it appears there may be a great deal of residual fallout to it... NO ONE, except Calder senior management and potentially those involved in the specifics, is prepared to reveal the motivations behind the action taken yesterday barring Douglas from the Miami oval...
With no details being released, rumors are rather rampant at Calder and beyond, but strong suggestion has been made that what is behind the ban of Douglas has nothing to do with his work at the CDI-owned circuit.. There are a number of potentially accurate details in this that have come forward, but until a quoteable on-the-record source is willing to provide specific details, it appears idle to speculate further... More if and when it comes our way.. (Dixie knows though, so you may want to contact him for the story...)

I just spoke to Rene....even he doesn't know what this is about...but he did say that Dicksie knew.....he always knows. Apparently, and I don't think this will come as a surprise to anyone, his UFO picks up EVERYTHING.
Oh, wait, I forgot to add, his agent said he has no idea who the Bid is but if he did he wouldn't have told him the story.

I'm now "in the know" also.
the cashier at the car wash this morning has a sister who lives in Miami. Her best friend works at a place where friends of Rene's used to hang out. Got the whole story from this guy. i did promise not to say a word though. sorry all... my word is my bond.

At least "The Bid' actually works in this game and has accomplished things within it.
Those who can do, those who can't talk about the people who do. I don't doubt that he does know what the story is, and I ca see where it rub people the wrong way to say I know but can't tell. But give me the opinions and info of people like Outofthebox, Cannon Shell, Richi, and The bid any DAY over the folks who aren't in the game. Those guys are actually players.
