Default Put-over at Churchill

One of the best put-overs I have ever seen just happened at CD.
A 3yo colt debuting for a debuting trainer (no starts this year) Phillip Jones.
showing 1 slow workout. Sired by Wild Wonder out of a Norbot mare.
50-1 ML goes of at 98-1. Sets right off the speed and draws off like a good thing. Beating Normandruth by a good 5-6 lengths, who debuted with a 83 beyer.
Fwiw, I bet the 2nd and 3rd place horses in a 2 horse exacta box.
I guess it would of been a good time for the ALL on top hedged tri.

Just posted in Phil's thread in the selections section.

Kind of ridiculous that things like that are allowed to happen.

Keeneland has a rule that mandates two listed works. I guess CD doesn't.

They announced some works. A blazing 4 in 50 from the gate and 5 in 104. Not to mention the horse looked like it shipped in from Alaska.
