Aside from Deputy Glitters, can't say. Don't disagree with you... off to Ft Meyers....

wow, rat is a bit harsh. Horse checked whether he was hit or not, not to mention jockey switch....horse has shipped well out of Cali so far this year. But opinions, are opinions.

Do you think about these kind of comments before you post them? You defend trainers who improve horses in remarkable ways and lambaste other posters who dare to question how these improvements occur and then call Albertrani a " bald little dwarf " ( he isn't little....I'm little...I should know ). You think he's incompetent....fine you're entitled to your opinion...but so are the rest of us who wonder abou some of the rapid improvements coming out of the barns you defend vociferously.

I think its ridiculous to call Bordanaro a rat Tim. Its not like he didnt run some great races.

He couldnt shine Pletcher's or Dutrow's shoes and what if I told you that people should be able to take a trainer at his word about a horse's fitnhess level(front page DRF). Then you hear someone say that maybe in private he knew he was short. Its fraud upon bettors as much as a guy who cheats to win.

It's a relative term....I'm bad about it since i have hung around so many trackers and can be negative at times...he is obviously not a "rat" in the sense of the word...hell, he is a Graded stakes winner...i'd like to own him

Anyway, I know he was hit by a whip slightly, but he still had all stretch to mow down a 100K claimer and could not get by......doesn't sit well with me, especailly since everybody wants to annoint him as the Sprint division leader right now in a year where the Sprint division is NAILS tough IMO....

Henny Hughes is better IMO....

Bottom line is that the original plan was the Kings Bishop. He called an audible, may not even have been his call(I doubt it was). Now, thats all cool and the horse being short is cool also. Whats not cool? Very not cool is telling the media all that ****ing bull**** he did in the articles about him being ready to win and blah blah blah and you gotta run em when they are this good, blah blah blah. Hes either a) a liar or b) misjudged his horses fitness level very badly which makes him incompetent. Plain and simple. That horse was short as could be.

I wouldnt go as far as annointing Bordonaro even top 3 sprinter status in the country at this point but he is no rat. Henny Hughes is easily number one, Silver Train and War Front are both better in my opinion. EVen Proud Tower Too could probably beat Bordonaro.

It must be in your circle which is much more intelligent when it comes to mine...LOL, because none of my friends know much about Bordonaro.

I just think one race isn't what I base my decision on...heck Speightstown lost the Vosburgh and it was run in 1:09 and change and he came back to win the BCC Sprint....who knows.

rat is better than gluepot I guess.

BTW, Proud Tower Too is out for the year, but anyway...I was just stating that Bordonaro by MANY analysts in the industry accounts was the #1 sprinter in the country going into the Bing Crosby.....I never liked the horse much, personally..

Everybody knows where I stand with Henny Hughes....

Joel, why is PTT out for the year? Was it his trip to DBX that sent him to the sidelines?

I think I read where he had surgery to remove a chip from a knee that originated from a workout about 1-2 months ago, but don't quote me on that....anyone else know for sure?

I do know he is out for the year, though....

the Dandy was a G2 event
some average horses have won this race
he did win the G1 Preakness
but that should have a big * by it
so who's he beaten?
with one other G3 win besides a maiden W
and the times were average
from a predigree stand-point, it just doesn't get any better
but I would like to see him really challenged
which you have to think will happen soon
bald people can't train, btw
you look at Baffert, Pletcher, even an older Lukas
all have full heads of hair
