100% correct. Handle's down in most places, as they've lost wagering outlets, which is limiting the amounts in the pools. If you throw away the home bettor or bettors at non-signal tracks, you're losing a good amount of money into the pools. That's a big problem for the industry, as more and more people have the races on tv at home and would wager on them from there, instead of going to their local track/otb. It's costing the tracks and horsemen (thru lower purses) a ton of $$, as mostly everything's based around actually being at the track... when the growth of the industry should be at-home betting thru the adw's.
