He'll be every bit of 5-1 and probably more IMO...they'll bet Dutrow to favortism and Steepenwolfer on his reputation, as well as Go Between will take a lot of money....Seaside Retreat will be in with the group of Proudinsky, Genre and Roman Dynasty at 5-1 to 10-1 range IMO....I like Seaside Retreat, but honestly, after looking at the pps I think it will be Kip Devilles to lose because there is absolutely ZERO pace pressure in this race....he'll have nobody hounding him in here unless Pletcher send Roman Dyansty hard early ad I doubt they will or could catch him too early in this race because that horse is just so quick.....This is Kip Deville's to lose and I'm really surprised this race came up seemingly weaker than the prep for it...Wow!...No Showing Up or Lewis Michael, or Stream Cat or the other garded stakes winners that ran last time...Wow...$1 million and a graded event and it is worse than the listed prep event.....can't believe that...

BTW, I also love Feiry Dancer in the Va. Oaks....

That is what you get for putting just 3 weeks between races. They didn't plan that out very well. The short turnaround might just be what keeps KD out of the winner's circle. Tough to see him running well off that last race unless he learned to rate in 3 weeks. Serious bounce possibility and he has to go an extra 1/16th in this one.
