Monmouth has been paying foR Haskell for along time if i remembeR right, Baffert must have made Bode's college tuition,with the number of times he has sent horses there .(and won too).

OTOH, the CC connections have the appearance fee down, but are not likely to collect on the win end though,(as steve crist points out).

So if past performances do indeed predict future events in this case, they made a really smart choice to return in a spot where they're guaranteed a check just for leaving the gate.

So it's not really a bonus per se. The word "bonus" was leading me to believe they only would get the $$ if Chrome won. Thanks.

Yes, a nice pay for a workout,- took a look at the card and Espinosa doesnot have another mount for the day to see what the track is like and get warmed up. He will be in the jocks room on the equecisor
