How are the monthly fees working with these claiming purchases? I've be so tempted the past 5 years to get involved...your gonna hook me one if these days

This filly has 40-20-20-20 ownership among the partners, so if you figure expenses are $2,500/month, costs are $500-$1,000/mo. after the initial buy-in for the claim.

As we add claims -- want to take a $25k this week in fact -- can offer 10% to 50% levels of involvement.

On a $25k claim, each 10% would be $2,500 up front + an estimated $250/mo.

how does everything work with taxes at the end of the year?
