That field came home in 22 3/5 according to both Trackus and the track teletimer. Honestly, I have been scratching my head over a ton of the second quarter timings and I am pretty sure that something is not properly aligned with the opening quarter splits going 8f and 8.5f on both turf courses, particularly with the rails set outward.

Also, there had to have been a pretty serious punch on that 2/2 double since the first half went for $19.00 and the backhalf went for $7.00 but the double only paid $47.40 as the horizontal favorite. Alvarado rode that horse like he knew everyone would be strung wide.
