![]() Exactly the point : it is the cable company's last mile technology (meaning what channel is used to rebroadcast the signal) and whether it has HD equipment at the headend. If I were Dan Silver in charge of NYRA's video program - and specifically wanted to deliver a top flight experience into the home market - I would be working hourly with the cable providers until these last mile issues are sorted.
Again, the point is simple : NYRA and the entire crew can tout their new HD systems at their tracks, but until they are delivering that experience everywhere outside of their plants, the value to the total viewing market is hugely diminished.
