Good news, thanks. Went there once when it was running as Duelling Grounds. Interesting place.

They should have a nice crowd on September 13th.

I might make a trip down there on one of the Wednesday cards.

I like the place...my only complaint is the indoor facility is a good 10 mile walk to the finish line.

The past few years they have constant golf cart shuttles running between the finish line and main facility. They have been a nice addition for all.

That's good.

I'd like to see them attempt to run clockwise for a meet.

I really enjoyed my visits to Kentucky Downs. I've always believed the place had potential.

Wasn't a Dueling Grounds Derby run over that course in the mid 90s?

The racing has moved upstairs with the addition of the Instant Racing machinces. You wouldn't recognize it downstairs. Totally remodeled. I think they can still make some improvements to the betting area, but there is more room and well lit. My main complaint to them has been a lack of a reward program. They have talked about it for over a year now but made no moves.

It has come a long way in the past 3 years. Management is really making an effort IMO.

Been there once. Very unique track. Many jockeys have a tough time gauging the finish line since its a very long stretch
